Este jueves queremos enseñarte algunas cosas que puedes necesitar para saber comprar en el mercado (en español) y luego iremos a practicar allí. ¿Te apuntas?
Every Thursday in the Plaza Mayor (main square) of Segovia there is a street market where you can find some food, clothes… and many other things! On Thursday the 13th we’d like to teach you some Spanish expressions and vocabulary you may need in order to buy at the market. And of course we will put them into practice! Why don’t you join us? 🙂

We’ll visit a «delicious» place downtown, the Gastronomic Museum of Segovia, where we will see, smell and try some of the most famous gastronomic products in Segovia and Spain.
We’ll learn first the necessary vocabulary and structures and then we’ll do a very special activity, where you’ll find out many interesting things about the Spanish cuisine. You can’t miss it! 🙂

El hombre de las mil caras narra una emocionante historia de espías, extorsión y venganza. Francisco Paesa, ex agente secreto del gobierno español, se ve obligado a huir del país. A su regreso, años después, recibe una visita muy tentadora, que le dará la oportunidad de vengarse de quienes intentaron arruinarle.
Nos prepararemos para entender la película y, una vez vista, tomaremos una bebida en un bar y comentaremos algunos aspectos lingüísticos y culturales muy interesantes de la misma. En este caso, trabajaremos sobre todo algunos hechos de la historia reciente de España, y su relación con el terrorismo y el terrorismo de Estado.
El hombre de las mil caras tells a story of spies, blackmail and revenge. Francisco Paesa, a former secret agent of the Spanish government, must get out of the country. When he returns home some years later, somebody pays him a tempting visit, which will give him the opportunity to take revenge on the people who tried to ruin him.
We’ll do a short Spanish training before watching the movie and after the film, we’ll have a drink and comment on some of the most important cultural aspects of it. In this case, we’ll work on some events in Spanish recent history, and its relationship with the terrorism and State terrorism.
