Segovia is a magical town, full of history and wonderful places; however, it is not always easy to access to them. Get into this fascinating and unique tour with escuela habla and Castellum Free Tour, and discover some hidden treasures of our town by entering places which are not normally visited!

If you’re learning Spanish, then this tour is for you! You can come an hour earlier and have a special lesson to get ready for the tour. Besides, you can meet Spanish people and have specific language support in order to understand and enjoy everything.

The level test consists of two short exercises, both in speaking and writing skills. If you can’t come in the days set, contact us and we’ll try to organize another session 🙂

Please, contact us to sign up for the level test, specifying the date preferred (if the date is not a problem, tell us, so that your appointment is with people of a similar level).

If you are an absolute beginner and would like to join our Spanish beginner’s course starting in October, contact us telling us about your availability, so that we can organize the schedule.

Spanglish tour

gymkhana en español e inglés por el centro de Segovia

¿Te gustaría pasar un buen rato, practicar inglés, aprender cosas interesantes y curiosas de Segovia y rematar el día asistiendo a un tablao flamenco? Además, ¡podrás conocer a gente de todo el mundo, practicar tu inglés o tu español, y colaborar con una buena causa!

El juego, guiado por escuela habla y Castellum Free Tour, comenzará en la Plaza Mayor a las 18:30 (así que ven un poco antes, para no perderte nada) y terminará en la Plaza del Azoguejo. ¡El recorrido es una sorpresa! 😉 Trae ropa y calzado cómodos, y a tu mascota, si quieres. ¡Los niños también pueden participar y lo pasarán genial!

Tanto si estás aprendiendo español como inglés, ¡la excursión es para ti! Esta divertida gymkhana constará de diversas pruebas en ambos idiomas; así podrás poner a prueba tus conocimientos a la vez que ayudas a tu equipo en el idioma que dominas 😉 y podrás conocer de primera mano cómo serán nuestras próximas actividades de intercambio inglés-español, que comenzarán en octubre.

Como en años anteriores, en esta ocasión también contribuimos con la ONG Agua de Coco. Por eso, al comprar tu entrada para participar en la gymkhana (2€), recibirás una papeleta de esta organización, con la que participarás en el sorteo que celebran. Además, pondremos a disposición de los asistentes más papeletas para su compra (por 2€) 🙂

¡Y la fiesta no acaba aquí! Después de la gymkhana asistiremos al espectáculo de tablao flamenco de la bailaora Laura Segovia a las 20:30 (precio: 15€). Puedes venir solo a una de las actividades o a ambas; ¡adquiere la entrada conjunta de la gymkhana (con papeleta de colaboración) + el espectáculo de flamenco por 15€!

Spanglish tour

Would you like to have a good time, practise Spanish, learn interesting facts of Segovia and enjoy a great flamenco show? Besides, you can get to know people from all over the world, practise your Spanish or your English and contribute to a worthy cause.

The game, guided by  escuela habla and Castellum Free Tour, will start at the Main Square of Segovia at 18:30 (you should be there earlier to avoid missing anything) and will end at the Aqueduct Square -the tour stays a surprise ;-). Don’t forget to bring comfortable clothing and shoes (or your pet, if you’d like!). Children are also welcome -they’ll really enjoy the game!

If you’re learning Spanish or English, then this tour is for you! This fun scavenger hunt consists of different questions in both languages, so that you can test and learn facts about Segovia, as well as help your team in the language you are most fluent in 🙂 Besides, through this activity you’ll get information about our exchange activities, which start next month.

As we did in previous events, we collaborate with the charity Agua de Coco. On this occasion, you’ll receive a ticket for the raffle of this charity together with your ticket for the scavenger hunt (€2). You can also buy more tickets for the raffle, if you want (€2) 🙂

The party is not over yet! After the scavenger hunt, we’ll enjoy a marvellous flamenco show performed by the company of Laura Segovia at 20:30 (price: €15). You can come to one activity or both of them. Buy the combined ticket for the scavenger hunt (+ Agua de Coco) and the flamenco show at the special price of €15!

All the activities are done in Spanish (with English help, if necessary) and are prepared mainly for foreign people, but you can come to some activities even if you speak Spanish well or if you already know the town. Ask us!

Every Wednesday in October, at 11:30 am and 6:30pm.* Take part in as many activities as you want!

The deadline to register is every Monday of the week of the activity. For late registrations, ask us if there are still free places.

We do something different each time, in order to get to know Segovia and learn how to move around the town easily, practising in different useful situations for your life here. We’ll offer you different activities and we’ll give all the basic resources to the non Spanish native speakers, as well as English help, if necessary.

24th: fiesta in Segovia!*

Taking advantage of the festivity of San Frutos, the patron saint of Segovia, we’ll enjoy the atmosphere of our town and chat about the social customs in Spanish fiestas. Hey! This activity will take place late in the evening and includes a special surprise 😉

31th: Shopping in Segovia .

We find out the variety of shops in town and buy some products we may need.

Cada día hacemos algo diferente, para conocer Segovia y aprender a movernos por ella con facilidad, practicando situaciones útiles para la vida aquí. Todo ello, acompañado de actividades y recursos lingüísticos para las personas no hispanohablantes, además de asistencia en inglés, en caso necesario.*

Nos presentamos, nos conocemos y nos ubicamos en la ciudad.

10 de octubre: Segovia monumental.

Visitamos los principales monumentos del casco histórico con Castellum Free Tour.

17 de octubre: Segovia es segura (salud y seguridad).

Aunque es una ciudad muy segura, aprendemos a manejarnos en las posibles situaciones problemáticas que puedan plantearse.

24 de octubre: ¡De fiesta por Segovia!*

Aprovechando la fiesta del patrón de Segovia, disfrutamos del ambiente más festivo de la ciudad y charlamos sobre nuestras costumbres sociales en las fiestas. ¡Atención! Esta actividad será en horario nocturno y viene con sorpresa.

31 de octubre: Segovia de compras.

Conocemos la variedad de tiendas de la ciudad y vamos a comprar algunos productos.

* El miércoles 24 de octubre, por ser un día especial en Segovia, tendremos otro horario; consulta la programación.

Viernes 28 de septiembre a las 19:30: Historias de Linajes y Torreones, visita guiada teatralizada organizada por Castellum Free Tour (precio 14€).

Sábado 29 de septiembre a las 20:30: Tablao flamenco, espectáculo organizado por Laura Segovia (precio 15€).

Desde escuela habla vamos a asistir a estas actividades externas y nos gustaría que nos acompañaras 🙂 Contacta con nosotras si quieres adquirir la entrada.

Aquí puedes inscribirte, no necesitas estar matriculado en escuela habla y puedes pagar la actividad al comienzo de la misma.

Learn first-hand everything you need to live in Segovia: places, customs… and Spanish!

who is it for?!

For anyone who has just arrived in Segovia or wants to get to know the town, its life and its culture better. Limited places, sign up now!

All the activities are done in Spanish (with English help, if necessary) and are prepared mainly for foreign people, but you can come to some activities even if you speak Spanish well or if you already know the town. Ask us!

when does it take place?!

Every Wednesday in October, at 11:30 am and 6:30pm.* Take part in as many activities as you want!

when do I register?!

The deadline to register is every Monday of the week of the activity. For late registrations, ask us if there are still free places.

where is it?!

Around Segovia and in escuela habla (Avda. Padre Claret, 12, just 1 min. away from the Aqueduct).

how much does it cost?!

€10 per person and activity. Sign up for all the activities and get one free! (5 activities for €40).

what are we going to do?!

We do something different each time, in order to get to know Segovia and learn how to move around the town easily, practising in different useful situations for your life here. We’ll offer you different activities and we’ll give all the basic resources to the non Spanish native speakers, as well as English help, if necessary.

We introduce ourselves, get to know each other and orient ourselves in town.

10th: Segovia and its monuments.

We visit the main sights downtown with Castellum Free Tour.

17th: Segovia is safe (health and safety issues).

Although Segovia is a very safe town, you’ll learn to manage problematic situations that may arise during your stay here.

24th: fiesta in Segovia!*

Taking advantage of the festivity of San Frutos, the patron saint of Segovia, we’ll enjoy the atmosphere of our town and chat about the social customs in Spanish fiestas. Hey! This activity will take place late in the evening and includes a special surprise 😉

31th: Shopping in Segovia .

We find out the variety of shops in town and buy some products we may need.

* On Wednesday the 24th, the activity will take place late in the evening. Have a look at the schedule of our website.

On Friday the 28th of September, at 7:30pm: Historias de Linajes y Torreones (Stories of «Linajes» -lineages- and «Torreones» -turrets-), guided dramatised tour organised by  Castellum Free Tour (€14).

On Saturday the 29th of September, at 8:30pm: Tablao flamenco, flamenco show organised by  Laura Segovia (€15).

We’ll join theese activities and would also like you to come with us, escuela habla 🙂 Contact us if you want to buy a ticket.

¿para quién es!

Para cualquier persona que acabe de llegar a Segovia o que tenga ganas de conocer más a fondo la ciudad, su vida y su cultura. ¡Plazas muy limitadas!
