Learn first-hand everything you need to live in Segovia: places, customs… and Spanish!

who is it for?!

For anyone who has just arrived in Segovia or wants to get to know the town, its life and its culture better. Limited places, sign up now!

All the activities are done in Spanish (with English help, if necessary) and are prepared mainly for foreign people, but you can come to some activities even if you speak Spanish well or if you already know the town. Ask us!

when does it take place?!

Every Wednesday in October, at 11:30 am and 6:30pm.* Take part in as many activities as you want!

when do I register?!

The deadline to register is every Monday of the week of the activity. For late registrations, ask us if there are still free places.

where is it?!

Around Segovia and in escuela habla (Avda. Padre Claret, 12, just 1 min. away from the Aqueduct).

how much does it cost?!

€10 per person and activity. Sign up for all the activities and get one free! (5 activities for €40).

what are we going to do?!

We do something different each time, in order to get to know Segovia and learn how to move around the town easily, practising in different useful situations for your life here. We’ll offer you different activities and we’ll give all the basic resources to the non Spanish native speakers, as well as English help, if necessary.

3th: get to know Segovia!

We introduce ourselves, get to know each other and orient ourselves in town.

10th: Segovia and its monuments.

We visit the main sights downtown with Castellum Free Tour.

17th: Segovia is safe (health and safety issues).

Although Segovia is a very safe town, you’ll learn to manage problematic situations that may arise during your stay here.

24th: fiesta in Segovia!*

Taking advantage of the festivity of San Frutos, the patron saint of Segovia, we’ll enjoy the atmosphere of our town and chat about the social customs in Spanish fiestas. Hey! This activity will take place late in the evening and includes a special surprise 😉

31th: Shopping in Segovia .

We find out the variety of shops in town and buy some products we may need.

On Friday the 28th of September, at 7:30pm: Historias de Linajes y Torreones (Stories of «Linajes» -lineages- and «Torreones» -turrets-), guided dramatised tour organised by  Castellum Free Tour (€14).

On Saturday the 29th of September, at 8:30pm: Tablao flamenco, flamenco show organised by  Laura Segovia (€15).
